First Line Self Defense (FLSD) provides professional instruction of self-defense and safety awareness tactics for civilian life. FLSD takes the tactics and mindset used in Law Enforcement and transforms it into something that can be used for the daily lives of everyday people. Students will learn victimization prevention techniques such as mental awareness, and self-defense techniques such as personal body weapon strikes, and escape moves.
Our Goal
FLSD's goal is to strengthen and empower the community one person at a time, by providing professional Law Enforcement training to community members in a low impact training environment. FLSD strives to create personal growth and confidence in students by providing professional training in a positive atmosphere, that is encouraging and constructive. We strive to transform training that was created for law enforcement officers into something that is applicable and effective for FLSD students.
